Central Board of Secondary Education has started online registrations for the CBSE CTET Exam 2016 for the 10th Edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test which is scheduled by the organization to be conducted on 18 September 2016. Candidates who were waiting from a long time for the Online Application Form for CBSE CTET Exam 2016 can now fill up the application form for the September Month Exam. The link for applying online was activated on 22 June 2016 and candidates satisfying the eligibility criteria as mentioned in the official notification can apply online from the official website ctet.nic.in.
The last date to apply online for CBSE CTET Exam 2016 is 18 July 2016 and candidates can apply on or before this date and can pay the application fee till 19 July 2016. The CBSE CTET 2016 Admit Card will be available from 17 August 2016 onwards. Each year CBSE organizes Central Teacher Eligibility Test twice a year for Class 1st to class 5th and class 6th to 8th class teacher in all over India. Educational Qualification: Candidates applying for CTET Sept Exam must be 12th passed with a minimum of 50% Marks and should have qualified the 2 Years Diploma in the Elementary Education.
Age Limit: There is no restriction in age criteria to apply for CTET Exam.
CBSE CTET Exam Pattern: The written examination will consist of Multiple Choice Questions which will carry 1 mark for each correct answer and there will be no negative marking for the wrong answer. The Paper I will be for Classes I to V and Paper II will be for classes VI to VIII. The Paper will include the subjects like Child Development and Pedagogy, Mathematics and Environmental Studies and Social Studies or Social Sciences.
Application Fee: Fee Structure is mentioned below:
For General/OBC Candidates: Rs.600/- (Either for Paper I or Paper II) and Rs.1000/- (for both Paper I and II)
For SC/ST/PWD Candidates: Rs.300/- (Either for Paper I or Paper II) and Rs.500/- (for both Paper I and II)
