Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law will be shortly release the CLAT Result 2016 for the Common Law Admission Test for UG and PG. The exam was held successfully on 8 May 2016 across various centers in which approximately 40000 applicants participated. Now the Common Law Admission Test Results 2016 for the 08.05.2016 will be available on 23 May 2016 (Expected Date) at the official website www.clat.ac.in. The CLAT Counseling and Seat Allotment will be conducted from June 1 to July 6. The Common Law Admission Test is the most popular law entrance examination to get admissions in Law program five-year incorporated programs (total number of seats 2252) and is conducted by (NLU) The National Law University every year. CLAT examination is managed by Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL).

CLAT Result 2016 Admission Procedure

The applicants will be considered eligible for the five-year integrated law program on the basis of merit-cum-preference of the candidates appearing in CLAT 2016 Test. The candidates will be awarded an All India Rank (AIR) as per their performance obtained in the online exam. For the admission process, counseling will be arranged where seats will be allotted to the applicants on the basis of the CLAT All India Rank, State Rank and Category Rank.

The marks of the candidate obtained in the CLAT Online examination will be listed in the CLAT Scorecard 2016 which will display the marks of the applicant obtained in each section. The marks will decide whether the candidate is qualified in the online examination or not. Students are required to meet the cut off marks. These are minimum scores that are needed to be qualified in the written examination. If candidate fails to achieve the cut off marks he is not considered eligible for further selection process. The CLAT Mark Sheet 2016 can be obtained from the official website with the release of the results. Candidates can also check their expected marks in the exam on the basis of the CLAT 2016 Answer Key. The counseling process will start from 1 June onwards. CLAT Rank List 2016

The Commission will decide the selection process on the basis of the merit list. This list will display the names and roll number of candidates who will be declared eligible for the admission. In addition to this candidates can also download the scorecard which will display the marks of the candidates obtained in the exam. The CLAT 2016 Rank List will be available along with the release of the CLAT Result 2016. The list will provide important information such as total number of candidates, their total scores, subject-wise marks and All India Rank as well as State Ranks. CLAT Cut off Marks 2016

These are minimum scores that are needed to be qualified in the written examination. These are different for different categories. Cut off marks for General, SC, ST, OBC, PWD etc. varies each year on the basis of the performance of applicants.

CLAT Counseling Procedure and Seat Allotment 2016

As per the tentative Schedule the counseling process and seat allotment for CLAT 2016 will be held from 1 June to 6 July 2016. During the counseling process, students can lock their choices of preferences for NLUs. As per the choices locked by the applicants and their rank obtained, they will be allotted seats in the NLUs. Candidates during the counseling rounds can lock, update or withdraw any seat. The CLAT Organizing may conduct up to 4 counseling rounds for the seat allotment process for Common Law Admission Test. Applicants will be allotted seats of NLUs based on their AIR and choices locked.
