Latest Update on 12.08.2016 – Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has finally released the Official PDF Notification for the IBPS Clerk 2016 Recruitment and it has came out with the huge number of vacancies ever. www.ibps.in Clerk Job Notification 2016 for Clerk CWE VI Online Exam

Candidates who are going to apply for this IBPS Recruitment 2016 Notification for Clerk Vacancies must possess Graduation Degree in any discipline or equivalent qualification from a recognized university. In addition to this, applicants must have a proficiency in English language. Having knowledge of local language will be an added extra advantage. IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2016 Eligibility and Age Criteria

The minimum education qualification needed for the Clerk Post is Graduation degree in any discipline. The age limit needed to apply online for IBPS Clerk Post is 20 to 28 years. However age relaxation will be applicable for reserved category candidates like Schedule Caste (SC), Schedule Tribes (ST), Physically Handicapped Candidates (PH), Other Backward Classes (OBC) and Ex-serviceman Candidates (EXSM) according to the rules mentioned in the official notification.

IBPS Clerk 2016 Application Fee

IBPS Clerk 2016 Fee is Rs. 600 for all the General and OBC Candidates. SC, ST and PWD Candidates need to pay an application fee of Rs. 100. Candidates can pay SBI Bank Fee either through online mode or offline. For the online mode, applicants can deposit through Net banking / Debit card / Credit card. For the offline mode, applicants can pay fee through system generated challan form. After paying the application fee, candidates can save or take a print out of the fee generated slip.

IBPS Clerk 2016 Selection Process

Candidates will be selected based on the performance in prelims online exam and mains online exam. Candidates who will qualify the prelims online exam by securing the minimum cut off marks will be called for the mains exam. The cut off will vary for different categories like SC, ST, OBC, EXSM and General Candidates. The online exam will be of objective type nature with a negative marking for each wrong answer.

IBPS Clerk 2016 Exam Pattern and Syllabus 2016 – 2017

The online prelims examination will be of 100 marks containing multiple choice questions. The total duration of the examination will be of 1 hour. Negative marking of 0.25 will deducted for each wrong answer. The sections asked in the prelims online exam will be: Reasoning Ability, General English, and Numerical Ability. Shortlisted Candidates from the prelims online exam will be called mains exam. The online mains examination will be of 200 marks containing multiple choice questions. The total duration of the examination will be of 135 minutes. Negative marking of 0.25 will deducted for each wrong answer. The sections asked in the mains online exam will be: Reasoning, English, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness and Computer.
