Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has officially released the IBPS Exam Calendar 2016 -2017 for the various upcoming latest bank exams for Clerk, PO, RRB & Specialist Officers. Each year, the organization conducts recruitment for the huge number of vacancies for the various posts in Clerical Cadre, Specialist Officer Cadre, Probationary Officers and vacancies for the Regional Rural Banks. This year also the organization has released the IBPS Exam Calendar 2016 or IBPS Exam Schedule 2016 -17 for the various bank exams coming this year. IBPS is an autonomous body in India which was founded in 1975. It is a self – governed academy which organizes examinations for recruiting eligible candidates for the bank jobs. Institute of Banking Personnel Selection conducts the exams for various posts through the Common Written Examination CWE. There are nearly 22 banks which are registered with the IBPS including Allahabad Bank, Andhra Bank, Bank of Baroda, Canara Bank, Dena Bank, IDBI Bank, Indian Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Punjab National Bank, Syndicate Bank, UCO Bank, Union Bank of India, Vijaya Bank Etc. which allows the IBPS qualified scores of candidates to get the job in such banks.
The selection process of IBPS Bank Exams 2016 will consist of two phases: Prelims Exam and Mains Exam. The candidates who will be declared qualified in the preliminary exam will be called for the mains exam. The scores of the prelims exam will not be counted during the final selection process as the prelims exam is of qualifying nature only.
