New Exam Pattern of IBPS PO Mains Exam

Preliminary Exam which was conducted few days back was carrying three sections – Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and English Section. The first two sections were carrying 35 questions of 35 marks for each section. The last section of English was carrying 30 questions of 30 marks. The Total Marks for all the three sections was 100 and exam duration was of 1 hour. Now let’s move on to the IBPS PO Mains Exam Pattern 2015-16:

There will be 5 sections in the IBPS PO Mains Exam Pattern. The total exam duration will be of 2 hours and the total marks for all the 5 sections will be 200. The paper will consist of the following sections:

1. Reasoning Section: 50 questions – 50 marks
   
2. Quantitative Aptitude: 50 questions – 50 marks
   
3. General Awareness: 40 questions – 40 marks
   
4. (a) English Language: 40 questions – 40 marks (b): Hindi Language: 40 questions – 40 marks
   
5. Computer Knowledge: 20 questions – 20 marks

About IBPS PO Mains Syllabus Exam Pattern 2015-16

The level of questions which will be asked in the IBPS PO Mains Exam will be of higher level than those asked in the prelims exam. Candidates who will qualify the mains exam will be shortlisted for the IBPS PO Interview Round. The Prelims Marks will not be counted during the final selection of candidates for the post of Probationary Officer.
