The written Exam will Consist 02 Part (A & B) with the following subjects..
(a). English Language carrying 20 Marks. (Part A Objective Type)
(b). General Knowledge carrying 50 Marks. (Part A Objective Type)
(c). An Essay of 200 Words having 15 Marks (Part B Subjective Type)
(d). A Letter in English or Precis Writing having 05 Marks (Part B Subjective Type)
(e). Translation from Punjabi to English having 10 marks (Part B Subjective type)
There is also Computer Typing Test in the clerk exam.
There is negative marking in objective type Questions of 1/4th Marks for each wrong Answer.
