Punjab Chief Minister Scholarship Scheme 2017

Punjab Chief Minister Scholarship Scheme 2017 invite  Applications  for  Scholarships  from regular  students  studying  in  recognized  Colleges  and  Universities for Professional Degree/ Diploma Courses like Engineering,  IT, Computer Science, Medical, Nursing, Home Science, Architecture, Agriculture, Business  Management, B.Ed., Journalism, CA etc. This scholarship scheme is for those candidates who are studying in MRSPTU, Main Campus and Its constituent colleges. Students who have appeared in Class XII Examination in  March, 2017 can also apply. Scholarship for such  students  will  be  considered  only  on  receipt  of  proof  of  admission  to  a  professional  course  in  recognized  Institute/ college and if found eligible otherwise. Eligibility Criteria for Punjab Chief Minister Scholarship Scheme 2017

Eligibility criteria for Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University Main Campus and affiliated colleges is given below. Candidates can refer all details before applying for scholarship scheme.

• For B.Tech :-
  • Category A : Student should have obtain JEE Rank between 50,000 to 1,50,000.
  • Category B : Applicant must be in first 6 merit position of any board Examination.
  • Category C : All university toppers are underlying category C.
• For M.Tech :-
  • Category A : The candidate should be qualified GATE or GMAT Examination.
  • Category B : Applicant should be in Merit List in respective University.
  • Category C : All university toppers are underlying category C.
• For B.Arch :-
  • 10+2 Percentage and NATA Percentage as required to be eligible.
• For MCA/ MBA/ M.Sc. (Chemistry/ Physics/ Mathematics/ Food Science and Technology) and M.Com :-
  • Applicant must enroll any of these courses MCA/ MBA/ M.Sc. (Chemistry/ Physics/ Mathematics/ Food Science and Technology) and M.Com.

Reward/ Scholarship Amount for Punjab Chief Minister Scholarship Scheme 2017

Applicant who qualify the eligibility criteria, they will get scholarship / concession amount as follows.
Punjab Chief Minister Scholarship Scheme 2017 for B.Tech

According to this scheme, student must be in first 6 merit positions of any board examination, but must have appeared in JEE test and admitted in any branch. Scholarship amount will be equivalent to tuition fee.

• JEE Rank < 50,000  : Full tuition fee and Development fund
• 50,000 < Rank < 1,00,000 : Full tuition fee
• 1,00,000 < Rank < 1,50,000 : Half tuition fee

Punjab Chief Minister Scholarship Scheme 2017 for M.Tech / M.Pharma

 

• Category A : GATE/GPAT Qualified : Scholarship will be provided as per university / AICTE / UGC / prescribed by saturated body.
• Category B : Scholarship equivalent to full fee concession will be provided to Merit Holders declared by respective University.
• Category C : Scholarship equivalent to full fee concession will be provided to University/ Board Toppers.

• More than 80% and Development Fund : Full tuition fee
• More than 70% and Upto 80% : Full tuition fee
• More than 60% and Upto 70% : Half tuition fee
• JEE Rank from 1 to 7,500 in Arch. App. Test Equivalent to Scholarship Amount : 25% of tuition fee
• JEE Rank from 7,500 to 10,000 in Arch. App. Test Equivalent to Scholarship Amount : 15% of tuition fee.

Punjab Chief Minister Scholarship Scheme 2017 for MCA/ MBA/ M.Sc. (Chemistry/ Physics/ Mathematics/ Food Science and Technology) and M.Com

• Scholarship equivalent to full Tuition fee concession for those candidates who will be Merit Position holders in respective university.
• Scholarship equivalent to 50% of Tuition fee concession for those candidates who will have scored more than 70% in qualifying examinations.

Punjab Chief Minister Scholarship Scheme 2017 for other UG programs offered bt PIT(S)

Candidates who have scored 70% and above marks in their examinations, Scholarship will be equivalent to half of tuition fee.
Following are the conditions to avail this scholarship.

• Student must have cleared all previous examination. ( No Backlog)
• Applicant must obtain 7 SGPA in each semester.
• Candidate can avail this scholarship one time only.
• Candidates must have good conduct throughout session.
