According to a spokesperson from the election office, Punjab Live Election Results 2017 will be telecast on TV screens at district election offices, prominent public places and malls. Poll results will be updated on the Election Commission’s website at regular intervals. Punjab has a total of 117 assembly seats and to form a ruling government, a party needs to win 59 seats. Counting of votes for both the Punjab and UP assembly elections, as also in three other states – Uttarakhand, Manipur and Goa – will begin at 8 am on Saturday.
