The recruitment process will be conducted for nearly next two months at different government colleges of different districts. As many as seven lakh aspirants have applied for 7,416 posts of constables for men and women and candidates need to take various tests, including substance abuse (drug abuse), physical measurement, physical screening, interview-cum-personality and other relevant tests as per the decision by Punjab Police Recruitment Board. After clearing mandatory drug abuse test, aspirants will have to finish 1,600 metre race in 6.6 minutes, clear high and long jumps.
