This is greatest news for employees who are working in government departments as a contractual basis. Today, Supreme court gave big relief to those employees. On Wednesday, Supreme court took decision to pay temporary employees as equal as regular employee. Supreme court have followed the statement “equal pay for equal work”.
As you know that there are thousands of employees who are working as temporary basic in various government organizations. Those candidates are working 8 hours equally to the regular employees. So, why there should partiality regarding salary, incentives, etc. So today, Supreme court have decided to be paid as equal as regular employees.
Bench said that, This principle is applied with large number of judgement rendered by apex court and constitutes law declared by the Supreme court.
As you know, nowadays there too much inflation in our country. Normal people have to survive for providing basic needs to their families like food, shelter, clothes and other basic things. Even some people cannot provide these basic needs to their families. Those employees have to work extra in order to feed their family happily. Even those employees have to pay at the cost of his self respect and dignity, at the cost of his self worth, and at the cost of his integrity. Even his department has to suffer, if he does not accept basic pay. So supreme court have followed this principle.

So, from now, temporary employee will also get pay as equal to regular worker. So that, he/she can fulfill needs of their families. Because we know that, Such an action besides being demeaning, strikes at the very foundation of human dignity. Any act, of paying less wages, as compared to others similarly situate, constitutes an act of exploitative enslavement, emerging out of a domineering position. Undoubtedly, the action is oppressive, suppressible and coercive, as it compels involuntary subjugation,” he said. So from now, Temporary employee will also get pay equals to regular employee.
