UPSC APFC Exam Pattern Syllabus
UPSC APFC Examination is conducted in 2 phases:
- Written Examination
- Interview
The Written Examination of UPSC APFC is of objective type nature carrying 100 marks.
Interview will carry 100 marks for all the shortlisted candidates from the Written Exam.
UPSC APFC Syllabus 2015
The UPSC APFC Written Examination is conducted both in English and Hindi Medium. The Syllabus of UPSC APFC comprises of two major areas: General English and General Studies
The purpose of including General English in written examination is to test the Candidate’s basic understanding of the English Language and Vocabulary
The General Studies will cover the following main topics:

Freedom Movements of India
Questions on Population
Development and Globalization
Governance and Constitution of India
Present Trends going on in Indian Economy

Sir my date of birth is 02.07.1980, sir please tell me whether I am eligible for the UPSC Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner Exam 2015??.
No Suman as your age should be 35 years as on last date for receipt of application which is 9-07-2015 but your date of birth is on 02-07-2015.
But sir in some pages I saw candidate should be below 35 yrs as on 01.07.2015….So what is the real date 1st july or 9th july , should be counted!!!

Suman, Your Age should not be exceeding 35 years as on normal closing date. Since the normal closing date is 9 july 2015 and your date of birth is 2 July 2015. That means your age exceeds 35 years on normal closing date

This year’s notification mentions only interviews for APFC. Could you please throw some light on the type questions generally asked? also will there b any sort of GD or just PI?

1. Are you sure you will leave SBI if you get EPFO?(repeated this 3 times)
2. what is the most unique feature of Indian constitution
3. article 17
4. how to use the present day buildings covered by glass panels for extracting energy?
5. In a clock showroom why all the clocks show the time 10:10
6. what is the angle between them?
7. what are diamond, ruby and emerald are made up of?
8. what is the chemical name of ruby?

1. what is the basis for organization of states in India?( this question based on candidate’s Andhra background which is the first state to be formed on linguistic lines)
2. which committee recommended that?
3. then y still there r demands for new states?
4. can we emulate American model of organizing states(based on geography) and its implications
5.what is the problem with Nagaland insurgency? why is their demand?

Time duration will be of 2 hours ..and there will be 100 questions in two sections. Yes ofcourse there will be negative marking
